Back
We've been back a week and pretty much recovered from the jetlag...only to also have to tackle a bout of Gastro! Nice.
The trip home was great, wedding fantastic and Monty's 1st birthday celebrated.
I think we would both confess to thinking that we would not do 24 hrs on a plane with a 1 year old again....assuming there is more little Smiths at some point. Monty would not keep still and was a challenge!

Ready to fly
Well, off to England again on Wednesday (3days away) and feeling pretty apprehensive about how we are going to entertain this little fidget for 24hrs on a plane.
Still, it will be a trip worth making, with Sarah's wedding and Monty's big number 1 to celebrate on the 23rd. These will be the last pics for a few weeks until we get back.

Mischievous
Well, a few weeks since the last post, but in the meantime Monty is getting up to plenty of mischief. He's getting ever more confident on his feet and has now worked out how to climb up on the couch...which is causing us to get rising stress levels....especially since Monty seems to think it is funny to fall off head first!
His increasing mobility is also seeing him ploughing through the plant pot as if he was excavating for gold and mocking the 'locks' we have bought to stop him getting into the cupboards and draws - simply by pulling them off! Weren't they a waste of money!
The little lad has also muttered his first proper words...."Bye Bye" accompanied by a little wave with both hands. Lots of "dadadadadad" too and quite a bit of babbling (think he must get that from his mum :-)
