First Steps

Whilst, these are not necessarily Monty's first steps on his own (he is getting a bit of assistance), they are his first without our help. He was watching a bit of TV (about 5 cm from the screen as usual) and suddenly found himself face to face with his walker.....

All change

Look carefully and you can see my bottom two teeth - I've not got one on the top too and looks like another top one in the middle is pushing through too.

This is my new smile - its about as cheesy as smiles get and I pull it everytime I think i'm being clever :-)

Starting Childcare

Well, this week saw the start of Monty's visits to childcare. While Lisa went back to work on Tues-Thursday, Monty came to work with me and I dropped him at Childcare (on Olympic Park). Apparently he was very well behaved on his first 3 days and while not getting clingy yet there appears to be signs he may do. Reports from Childcare on his first day were that he liked the football (good lad) and went around blowing rasberries all day!!!

Will try to get some pics of Monty at the centre, but in the meantime here's a pic of Monty getting his teeth into his Colchester United footy (this was shortly after Colchester were officially relegated to the 1st Division).

You may start to see some very rosey cheeks appearing in any photos over the next month...we think Monty may be about to show us a couple of teeth - on the bottom at the front. He has very red cheeks and are looking a bit dry and shiny! You will see slight glimpse of them in the 3rd and most recent of these pics.
